POV[edit]

...famous, brilliant mastermind, authored hundreds, if not thousands..., one hell of a prolific writer, His books were published at a rate faster than kid's can save money from lunch allowance to buy them, wrote beautifully, His contribution to Urdu literature, unfortunately, has not been acclaimed in a deserving manner...

Fawning essay, not a sober encyclopedic article. Please rephrase. --tickle me 14:25, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's been over four years since the above observation, and this remains an unsourced article filled with original research. I've tagged it. Perhaps his fans will rewrite this in accordance with encyclopedic guidelines within the next four years..... 99.136.253.101 (talk) 15:27, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Sources[edit]

Ishtiaq Ahmed is author of hundereds of detective novels written for teenagers. A whole generation of Pakistani kids grew up reading his detective novels. Please do not delete this article. Here is an interview with him from GEO TV. The interview is in Urdu http://tune.pk/video/1470602/ishtiaq-ahmed-author-of-inspector-jamshed-series-interview-on-geo-tv-complete-interviewwmv

Ishtiaq Ahmad is a shy person and does not like to appear on TV/News media this could be the reason there are so little resources on him. Whatever material is available on the internet about him is mostly in Urdu. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 39.44.98.101 (talk) 14:28, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
