Sorry. The links given are not sufficient to back up your edits. IMDB's bio page depends on user edits and as a result can be manipulated in providing false information. As for the MySpace accounts, we have no indepedant indication that the account in question are indeed that of Irina... and it's not just her. Asia Carrera has famously mentioned on her blog that she had a number of imposter sites on MySpace. You can read more about Wikipedia's policy regarding sourcing for biographical articles at WP:BIO. And what does it matter that he's black? Why does that adjective keep coming up in the description of the guy? Isn't that a bit POV? Dismas|(talk) 12:24, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How could you say it's not her myspace profile. There are even intimate photos on her husbands profile. Her wikipedia article includes it.Why not mention he's black? And most wikipedia entries include personal information that is not referenced by alot of major media publications.--69.154.17.211 18:05, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why mention that he's black, you ask. Well, what difference does it make? None. Is it relevant? No. If she were from a family of white supremecists, then it would make a notable inclusion. But with as many inter-racial couples as there are now-a-days, it's pointless. It's like saying that Sonny Perdue, the governor of Georgia, was born in the U.S. State of Georgia and not the country of the same name. It's pointless to point this out because the country has nothing to do with a state governor just like the guy being black has nothing to do with their relationship. I would be interested to know that he's black. Ofcourse if your black then you would feel sensitive about it.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.149.219.29 (talkcontribs) 19:18, October 25, 2007
I'm not actually. I'm so white I'm nearly transparent. But I just don't see the point in pointing that out. Dismas|(talk) 23:34, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Like I said, alot of people would. You may not.

Actually, I have a different question - even on the myspace pages, where does it say they are married to each other? (Forgive me if it's obvious and I've missed it, that has happened before. Please point it out.) --AnonEMouse (squeak) 18:46, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Her profile says she's now married. You have to go to his profile and check her comments. She mentions it. Check the pics/photos - them visiting russia.

Trying to ban this information is so un-wikipedia. These articles shouldn't be promotional ads.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.149.219.29 (talkcontribs) 19:18, October 25, 2007

And that leads back to my earlier comment: how do we know that those MySpace pages actually belong to the people in question? And yes, I do know I'm being paranoid but there is a long history of fake sites of celebrities there... Tabercil 23:35, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

-I am pretty sure it's hers. There are links to her modeling agency. Feel free to call them up. It's her. Lemel's looks real too. There are personal photos that no one else has. That can't be faked.

Aha. You mean this, from the Lemel Hughes myspace? http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=153011280&albumId=0

You apparently need to have a myspace page yourself to see that. He says he has a beautiful wife, and shows pictures, but doesn't name her. Yes, she's tall and blonde, but should we be able to name her from looking at the picture? Eh... She doesn't name him as her husband on her myspace - if that is her myspace. It's possible - here is a 2004 interview with her, stating she has a fiance who is 18 years older, which would about fit: http://www.savvy.com/savvy_girls/featured/irina_voronina But surely there's some article about their wedding in a newspaper or magazine somewhere, actually saying they married, in print. --AnonEMouse (squeak) 14:25, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

russian wiki[edit]

There reads: американская фотомодель и киноактриса российского происхождения
Translated with Google translator: "American model with russian origin". Is she actually American now? It could be possible if she's been working in the U.S. 85.217.20.177 (talk) 07:59, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There is also this tag: This biographical article on a Russian or person from a CIS state does not specify a patronymic.
Strangely, the russian language wikipedia does not have it either. I suppose her second name (or "patronymic") is just not known. Neither is her father's name, since that's where it's got from. 82.141.66.37 (talk) 01:38, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Currently, Russian wiki has it: Ирина Вадимовна Воронина, "Irina Vadimovna Voronina". The source there seems to be her Twitter account. 82.141.67.203 (talk) 03:02, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
