Comment[edit]

This article speaks of Inti Raymi as if it is some ancient long-lost tradition. In fact, Inti Raymi is still a huge celebration in Cusco, I believe the largest gathering of people in South America other than Carnival in Rio. While it is now more about getting drunk than worshiping the sun, there are still extremely significant cultural and religious displays carried out in Cusco that are attended by tens of thousands of people, including many local and international celebrities. This article should reflect that. --71.163.216.65 (talk) 20:26, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Typos and inaccuracies, and their effect on the articles around this topic.[edit]

Hello, it seems like the typo 'Pachatutec' in the article is an instance of Citogenesis. I am currently scouring Quechua - Spanish dictionaries, and I cannot even find the information that Pachacútec or Pachatutec founded this holiday. Zorblin (talk) 22:07, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Weirdly enough, I cannot find this typo at all in the history anymore. What the hell? Zorblin (talk) 02:46, 3 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
