This page, like many others created by the same editor, bears a name which is just the beginning of a disambiguation nightmare as it is non-specific. Its bold and absurd conceit is that there is not to be another election constituency anywhere else on Earth with the name "Information Technology". A better name would be, for example, "Information Technology Constituency (Hong Kong)". It is fundamentally wrong to stake out page space on wikipedia which is far broader than merited by the subject. Names ought to be intelligently devised to avoid this sort of confusion and domination. I recommend that the entire page be deleted and moved to a name properly formulated, such as the one I suggest. sirlanz 07:15, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Noted user lmmnhn has reverted the move. The conduct of this editor leaves much to be desired. This talk subject was initiated as an invitation for comment. It was posted for a month and lmmnhn contributed nothing to the debate. Lmmnhn has now just lumbered in and reversed the move on the basis that "There is only one constituency carries(sic) such name" which is the whole point of the move, i.e. that this an incredibly bold statement suggesting that the writer (lmmnhn) is in a position to state, in the context of the whole world, that no such constituency now exists (or, it must be said, will exist in future). This is extreme hubris and is not appropriate for an encyclopedia of world knowledge. lmmnhn is invited to address the issue properly, providing a logical foundation for their position, in the absence of which the page ought to be moved to its appropriate place in WP. sirlanz 04:10, 3 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
