Lack of independent sources[edit]

To meet the test of WP:ORG there must be multiple independent and reliable sources that contain significant coverage of the subject of the article. The sources currently provided do not meet this test. A citation of an article written by the founder of an organistation is not independent and does not count toward notability. The Israel Institute of New Zealand is not an independent source with respect to the subject of this article. Therefore, any passing mention of the name of the organisation in their publications does not count towards notability of the organisation. What is needed to meet the test of WP:ORG is coverage in multiple items of independent news or other similar sources that each provide significant coverage of the subject.Marshelec (talk) 06:47, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There are currently insufficient independent sources about the organisation itself. There are only passing mentions. It is likely that there are sufficient sources to support an article about the founder, but at present, not enough to support an article about the organisation as per WP:ORG.Marshelec (talk) 07:40, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Herald source is not significant coverage, but the Ynet source and the AIJAC scrape through. If it went to AFD I don’t think I would keep the article with two barely-adequate sources, but we have so many worse-sourced articles than this that I’m not going to nominate it myself. — HTGS (talk) 00:30, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
