Fair use rationale for Image:Ificouldonly.jpg[edit]

Image:Ificouldonly.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I have added an appropriate fair use rationale to the album cover image, which is therefore no longer subject to speedy deletion. — Mudwater 14:59, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ethan Crosby[edit]

This article claims that Ethan Crosby appears on the album, but there is no evidence of this in the track or personnel listings. GeneCallahan (talk) 13:58, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm looking at the LP right now and Ethan Crosby is listed. The inside gatefold of the record has individual photos of each of the musicians -- there are about two dozen of them -- and one of them is Ethan Crosby. Mudwater (Talk) 14:19, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Here's a picture of the gatefold. Ethan Crosby is in the lower left. Mudwater (Talk) 14:22, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The other three albums[edit]

The article says, "It was one of four high-profile albums released by each member of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young in the wake of their chart-topping 1970 album Déjà Vu. " But, what are the other three albums? This information was recently removed from the article, here and, after I put it back, here. I'm sure that some of our readers would want to know what these albums are, so we should tell them. What do other editors think? (Pinging @Kkollaps: who made these changes.) Mudwater (Talk) 18:32, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The information isn’t absent from the article, it has been moved to the body, like other details that don’t bear any importance for the introduction of the topic. It’s not an article about CSNY or their individual solo albums, and that detail is not lede material. Nobody needs a discography, if they want to know more they can go to the page on CSNY to read about what they released during that era of the band’s existence. Okay, I see it now, here at the beginning of the Recording section. You've shortened it a bit, but it still names each of the other three albums. That's pretty reasonable. Mudwater (Talk) 23:47, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
