Appears to be copied from Stanford News[edit]

In trying to find a complete citation for the quotation of H. Samy Alim, I discovered that the entire sentence, not just the bit within quotation marks, is identical to a sentence in this piece from Stanford News. (It also appears that the sentence was written the author of that piece, not directly quoting Alim.) I therefore undid the edit that added that sentence. Alim's work should certainly be included in this article, but let's also take care not to plagiarize nor to infringe copyright. Cnilep (talk) 05:00, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This article is very poorly written. Should be reworked.[edit]

Revealing the hidden lead[edit]

Edits in March 2023 placed a new section above the lead section and obscured a maintenance tag. I have moved the new section ("Identity and writing") lower down on the page. All articles need a lead section that summarizes the main points. New sections should be added below the lead, and depending on their significance to the article, perhaps mentioned in the lead.
