Major edit[edit]

For the time being, why not just make the infobox same (except for model number & OS) as iPad Mini 2? what we know right now they are basically the same (except Touch ID). Currently I can see Elpida DDR3 RAM, IGZO display, and incorrect model number (those belong to iPad Air). Possible vandalism? -- Wasill37 (talk) 04:11, 18 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Siri[edit]

Siri has been available to iPad Mini since the first generation. I don't think the article needs to mention it, besides the paragraph sounds like advertisement. -- Wasill37 (talk) 06:56, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

picture[edit]

One picture says that the iPad mini 2 and mini 3 have the same outer shell design but that's wrong. For example the iPad mini 3 has a more minimalistic designed camera without that ring around it. --Punkt64 (talk) 15:07, 9 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Released with iOS 8.1 or 8.0?[edit]

There are no reliable sources suggesting that this iPad was released with 8.0, though no clear sourcing that I can see that states it was released with 8.1. Because the iPad was released on Oct 22, and per Apple, iOS 8.1 was released on Oct 20 (see [1]), it seems reasonable to deduce that the iPad came with 8.1. The IP editor (here [2]) has linked to a reddit post ([3]) where someone found an iPad with 8.0. It seems likely that some store somewhere may not have updated all their models before sale. This is not typical, is not supported by any reliable sources and should not be treated as ultimate by the article. — HTGS (talk) 21:25, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
