1973 industrial accident explosion at IMI factory in Witton in Birmingham[edit]

Here is TV footage shown the following day (marked 15.11.1973). At the time the fatal ammunition factory explosion was overshadowed by the royal wedding of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips which had occurred on the same day (14.11.1973). Footage silent except the interviews - www.macearchive.org/films/atv-today-15111973-aftermath-explosion-imi-ammunition-factory-witton — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.16.72.221 (talk) 18:36, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yorkshire Imperial Metals?[edit]

Is this the IMI that absorbed Yorkshire Imperial Metals? If so, can we get a mention of that? MatthewVanitas (talk) 07:55, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
