"Theoretical Disposition"[edit]

This section doesn't seem to make sense at all.

"Bentley opposed both the behaviorism and mentalism movements of psychology. In his view, psychological functions were different." - Different from what?

"They surmounted a distinction between the organism and the environment." - What/ who did?

"The environment was absorbed by the organism." - This is meaningless?
