Book by George Galloway and other I'm Not the Only One songs exist. In ictu oculi (talk) 06:59, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Including the Rancid (EP) "I'm Not the Only One", rerecord I'm Not the Only One (Tim Timebomb song); therefore this should have (Sam Smith song) per WP:SONGDAB. Also WP:CRYSTALBALL "it will be released in the United Kingdom as a digital download on 31 August 2014." In ictu oculi (talk) 01:45, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
How's that WP:CRYSTALBALL? I very much doubt they're gonna postpone something which has been announced by the record label, the artist themself and other officials. Would "scheduled to be released" be suitably pedantic? --DJUnBalanced 21:06, 26 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: no consensus, defaults to restoring the status quo ante which means the dab page will be moved to I'm Not the Only One (disambiguation) and this article will move to the base location. Jenks24 (talk) 14:03, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm Not the Only One (Sam Smith song)I'm Not the Only One – Only topic on the list to meet WP:GNG. Current disambiguation page should be moved to I'm Not the Only One (disambiguation). Launchballer 17:14, 26 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose - as the article says "It will be released in the United Kingdom as a digital download on 31 August 2014", why should we make a song that hasn't been released yet more notable than all other songs with this title that have ever existed combined? Not to mention the autobiography of a major UK political figure George Galloway, named after the line from John Lennon's "Imagine". In ictu oculi (talk) 00:24, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - see similar scenarios at Hey Brother and It's My Birthday. Unreal7 (talk) 17:39, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. This song currently dominates the Google ranking: "I'm Not the Only One" -wikipedia. If it is not a hit, someone can always move it back. Clodhopper Deluxe (talk) 02:04, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - This is too soon to tell. I'll not allow some song to dominate the title just because of that guideline. --George Ho (talk) 04:43, 4 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per George Ho. Using Ghits to prove notability of a currently notable artist is an exercise in pointlessness.--Richhoncho (talk) 14:28, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
