Link dead[edit]

The link to howwikipediaworks.com for the download is broken. Anyone know if there is a way to get hold of the GFDL version? —Tom Morris (talk) 20:37, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've put up a PDF copy here. It's GFDL licensed, so feel free to share it. —Tom Morris (talk) 07:54, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Tom. I hope to fix the dead link but haven't gotten to it. Accidentally let the site registration lapse :( -- phoebe / (talk to me) 17:07, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The website is back online and I've editing the EL section to show that. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 17:19, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Bizarrely, it is not online because of me; someone bought the domain and brought back the old page from the archive. And it looks like spammers :( -- phoebe / (talk to me) 00:31, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The authors have a new site up at http://www.howwikipediaworks.net/; I will edit the ELs. -- phoebe / (talk to me) 17:47, 8 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Updated version?[edit]

At some point it will be made clear if this is not being updated and no is longer useful for new editors. Even if no WP:RS say so(?) CarolMooreDC 18:17, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Integrate into Wikipedia?[edit]

It may be a good idea to integrate this book into Wikipedia just as Book:Wikipedia: The Missing Manual was. There's a start at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/How_Wikipedia_Works --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 04:37, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, putting it on Wikibooks would be good. Charles and I have relicensed the book to be CCBYSA as well. -- phoebe / (talk to me) 17:48, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
