Vandalism[edit]

Undid a edit from November 29th. Removed "Cole Byvelds was in charge of the missions to the beachs , due to his long amount of time at beaches a excesive amount of sand entered his vagina , from this he became a huge bitch about everything. Although his bod did look good in a bathing suit," from the article. 173.95.152.208 (talk) 03:28, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Stained glass windows[edit]

The article states that when the Nazis objected to the windows depicting Jewish philosophers, these windows were packed away in crates, which may indeed be the case with some of them. But I've seen more than one source claiming that at least a few were "ceremoniously smashed" while horrified hotel staff, management and guests looked on.

Without being able to confirm the identity of these sources, I won't insert that into the article (an excellent article by the way - have you seen the one I wrote on the Anhalter Bahnhof?)

I appreciate the comment. I'll have a look for better source on this- and have another look at my original source (it may be down to my dodgy translation of predominantly German sources). The article is still a bit rough around the edges anyway, and needs more work.

I've seen and been impressed by the Anhalter Bahnhof piece. I'd researched the subject myself and you've included lots of great stuff I've not noticed before. Have you seen the Wim Wenders' film 'Wings Of Desire'? There's some great footage of Columbo Peter Falk walking infront of the ruins circa winter 1986. Is this worth a mention in the piece?
