Interesting but[edit]

The historical perspective section may be interesting but does it really belong here? Very railway geek talk about stock and other geek stuff. This page should be about the station (and its history) not so much detail is required here. This information may belong with the history of the line rather than the station with just a brief note regarding its "glory days." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.29.112.198 (talk) 12:44, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And for another perspective:
Yes no doubt very geeky but thanks for destroying factual information and turning this article back into a pretty much useless stub of absolutely no value to anyone. This is the problem with Wikipedia - people like you destroy well researched if rather geeky input rather than improving it. If you feel it belongs somewhere else then please have the courtesy to put it somewhere else, and at the same time improve the style which I assume your apparently classy classical education makes you well able to do. And by the way if there had never been geeks there never would have been a railway to serve Holmwood. We can't all be bankers etc who bring nothing to the real economy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.20.135.77 (talk) 03:59, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please put back the geeky stuff if it is about the railway history of Holmwood station and not just about the Mid Sussex line or Southern Railway or LBSCR in general. Regarding the actions of the brevity zealot you do of course have the ability to keep rolling back his changes until he gets bored. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Capvermell (talkcontribs) 12:53, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If the anti history and pro stub only entry zealot removes the useful history of this station again I give notice that I intend to restore it and put the matter in dispute for resolution with Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Capvermell (talkcontribs) 13:51, 5 February 2012‎
