Someone should add the definition of hit in the conext of a website. As in, 'XXXXXXXXX.com gets 300,000 hits a day'.

How about the good old-fashioned concept of the word, as in 'to hit someone'? Not in the concept of 'hit as opposed to miss', but the concept of punching somebody in general. Dragonfly888 20:57, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
