Untitled[edit]

I'm changing the description of him from "German American" to simply "German". He doesn't appear to have had any connection to America beyond his service in the Confederate army during the war itself. He only came to America specifically to fight in the war, and he left again as soon as the war was over. I can't find any sense in which he was "American".
