I will review this article. -- Cirt (talk) 05:53, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since Cirt's went inactive, I will review this shortly. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 20:06, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the issues I found with the article:

  • "One the other hand Gazis returns but for a very short period." huh? i presume you meant "on the...returned,"  Done
  • "In the following years however the periodical was subsidized by the princes of Moldavia, Scarlat Callimachi and Michael Soutzos." commas between however  Done
  • "Consequently, Hermes o Logios became actually " actually became sounds better.  Done
  • Makes sure that the title is italicized on each mention; i saw a few instances where it wasn't.  Done
  • "Although Hermes o Logios was the most important publication for the transmission of progressive ideas to the Greek people, which should ultimately lead to the emancipation and independence, there was hardly any information of signs of an ongoing revolution. At least on the surface of things, it does not seem so. Of course there was the Austrian censure to be reckoned with the conservative minister Klemens von Metternich and his secret " hard to explain, but this whole section sounds very confusing as worded. I think I know what you're trying to say, but not positive. adding in stuff like 'should' and 'of course' doesn't seem encyclopedic - How does it look now?
  • "One the other hand there is no doubt, that the contributors of Hermes o Logios dreamt of liberation of the Greek nation and of an independent state." Is there a better way to word it to fit with the rest of the section? - How does it look now?

I'll put this on hold. The article is really well done for the most part, but the contents section needs a general fine-tune. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:44, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've done some work on the article. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 04:00, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That looks a lot better now, so I'll pass this article as a GA. Nice work, one of the more compelling articles I've gotten to review in a while. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 04:12, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
