Marriage and reviews[edit]

Thanks for your help, User:MajoLavandera. I've changed some of your edits, and I'd like to explain why.

About the Macaulay review: it's important to keep the article from sounding WP:Promotional and to give each critic WP:Due weight. We're an encyclopedia, not a marketing tool. Mr. Cornejo is a fantastic dancer, and WP:Reliable sources have said so, and we can quote them, and that's great; but long quotes can make the page look more like an advertisement. I trimmed the new review to the strongest part.

About his marriage: this is discussable. The WP:Biographies of living persons policy says that contentious material should be removed if poorly sourced, but the material is sourced to two trustworthy sources (the NYT and La Nación).The information also seems to be relevant to his career. As a professional artist who has frequently given interviews to the media, he doesn't qualify as a "low-profile individual" (about whom we try to minimize privacy disclosures): he's a "public figure", about whom we report neutral, well-sourced, relevant information even if they'd rather we didn't. This is why User:Oshwah reverted you. But since it's not directly part of his career, and he's not as much of a public figure as some, we could ask the group of people who focus on this policy what they think.
