Francis Gay and "The Friendship Book".[edit]

The statement here that Herbert Leslie Gee was responsible for "The Friendship Book" under the pseudonym Francis Gay is not entirely true, because "The Friendship Book", an annual publication of short anecdotes, poems, and photographs, is still going, at least as of 2015 - nearly 4 decades after Gee's death. (Also, I have a feeling it may have started before 1939, as stated in the article, although I'm not sure - I have the ghost of a memory that I once saw an edition of the book dating from the 1920s in a second-hand book-shop; but it was a long time ago, so I might be misremembering.)

Possibly it might be stretching the relevance to Gee a little, but it would be good if more information could be given in the article about the authorship of this work since Gee's death, if it can be found. I don't know if either Francis Gay or "The Friendship Book" are notable enough by Wikipedia criteria to merit an article of their own; but I feel that anyone looking for information about either Gay or "The Friendship Book" are highly likely to end up on the Herbert Leslie Gee article - so that might qualify as sufficiently relevant to include a little about it.

Even more remotely, I wonder whether Gee had a role in "The Fireside Book of David Hope". This and "The Friendship Book of Francis Gay" seem quite similar types of work, and "The Friendship Book" often advertises the other work at the end, so making it reasonably possible Gee might have been involved in both publications, at least up to his death.
