let me complete the article, please - i have 50 pages of published early materials to summarize - Henry B Sherwood played a notable role in the 19th century economy of the Westport Connecticut (Fairfield County) area - inventing (US Patent 237,057) a farming implement key to the major farm economy (onions) of the Westport/Fairfield area; owner & operator of the Compo Tide Mill - milling local grain crops for both the West Indies trade and the local New York market boat trade which existed prior to the construction of the New York & New Haven Railroad line in the late 19th century.
