Kotter[edit]

Is it fair to portray Head of the Class as a "carbon copy" of Welcome Back, Kotter? The fact that the students on Kotter were a bunch of underachievers, while the Head of the Class students were gifted, seems to be a significant difference. --Metropolitan90 05:35, August 17, 2005 (UTC)

I, anonymous contributor, agree with you wholeheartedly. The cast make-up is different, the purpose was different, and the basic premise is little off. I vote to delete it, or at the very least move it to the end. 18:33, 23 August 2005 (UTC)
It is actually the reverse of "Welcome Back Kotter." Kotter had dumb kids smart teacher. Class had smart kids, dumb teacher

Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Head of the Class/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

I see some statements in the description of this show that seem very opinion-as-fact, such as about the Sarah character ("did not have any one particular area of expertise; she was the most down-to-earth of the the IHP class, and the least-developed character") and Maria's character ("Maria Borges (Leslie Bega) was probably the least-intelligent member of the IHP") that I feel should be removed. There's nothing in the show that portrayed Maria to be the "least intelligent." I remember her character being a hard worker and freaking when she got anything lower than an A (she grounded herself for getting a 'B' in the pilot episode). Maria was fashionable, manic and quirky, and those positive qualities should be mentioned instead. And Sarah may not have been that developed, but why should that be mentioned in an article? Connolly & Schneider[edit]

Billy Connolly and Dan Schneider were both actors on this show. Schneider was a also a writer on the show. So there boxes belong. Why are you fighting me on this?--2601:5C0:4280:3D40:D43C:A555:217A:2B91 (talk) 03:51, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

By longstanding consensus, we do not list actors in navboxes for media franchises, nor do we put navboxes for actors on the articles of any films or tv series they may have acted in. oknazevad (talk) 12:44, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
