Survey[edit]

Feel free to state your position on the renaming proposal by beginning a new line in this section with *'''Support''' or *'''Oppose''', then sign your comment with ~~~~. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's naming conventions.
  • Support As long as we keep the "Other Uses" at the top of the article of the MLL team. Other than one of the two Nationals teams being the home of Wayne Gretzky for a pair of seasons, the Toronto Nationals were a flash in the pan that did not make much income due to the existence of the Maple Leafs and Marlboros teams. The junior team, as an organization, should be renamed to Toronto Nationals (1970–1980) to fall inline with the naming conventions of other Junior hockey clubs that share names. • Support As per DMighton. --MrBoo (talk, contribs) 03:40, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support as my first thought was: "I wonder what DMighton (resident junior hockey expert & lacrosse follower) would say?" Mitico (talk, contribs) 04:26, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Although I would love to say that junior hockey or lacrosse should supersede a lowly pro team with the same name... lol jk... I see no reason to stand in the way of the move.  :) DMighton (talk) 08:12, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
