Re-organized the article, created sections, clarified details of the process and added factual details. I think it now reads much better. --216.160.93.32 (talk) 10:25, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted my previous commments from the talk page to combine them in to one. I fixed...yet again...the statement that stated two in phase waves builds up to 3db, this is INCORRECT and can be verified with an audio editor. In phase + in phase = 6db!!!! - I've also removed a bunch of stuff I said about a more "accurate" Haeco profile. After getting ahold of non-HAECO masters for some tracks, the strange twisting turned out to be a result of bad tape-head azimuth during the process. I've removed this statement and modified the statement on using auto-phase to remove this. I'm also currently in the process of writing a paper on this profess since it seems me, and a few other random people, bothered to even get this useless tidbit of information in to wikipedia. Since I am not that good at writing encyclopedia articles, I will post a link and allow someone to maybe rewrite the article from that...if necessary. Dewdude (talk) 21:57, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
