My name is Giacomo Bellucci and my father Rigoletto (1922-living), in May 1941, had embarked on Regia Torpediniera Climene (Spica Class - Climene type) as hydrophone operator.
On the evening of May 12, off the coast of Tripolitania, they intercepted a submarine, considered an enemy and, together with another torpedo boat (Pegaso?), proceeded to the attack.
When depth charges exploded, my father back from the keel and raised on the ship's deck; he saw emerge, vertical of prow, a submarine which then fell into the water toppling.
A few minutes later a large patch of oil had been observed.
My father had a diary, in this he had marked the name of the other torpedo boat, time and location; unfortunately, in 1944, whereas with a MAS they embarked agents of British intelligence, from Greek-Albanian coast (occupied by the Germans), to escape from a German motor torpedo boat, they struck a submerged log embarking much water; on that occasion he lost his diary. --Hdosbe (talk) 21:19, 15 April 2016 (UTC)Giacomo Bellucci — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hdosbe (talk • contribs) 14:03, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
