Removal of material[edit]

I've just removed a couple of chunks of recently added information that were either unsourced/private recollection, or were sourced to unpublished sources (specifically, internal Navy reports). The diff of my removal is here. The information is more than likely correct, and its removal is not intended as a slight against the editor contributing it. If anyone can find WP:RS for anything in that diff (specifically the below), I would really appreciate it. -- saberwyn 01:53, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Overseas deployments to Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands
  • Participation in Exercise Kangaroo 89
  • Damage to starboard propeller in 1981, and its later presentation to the AFDA officers mess
