Henry William Bradley, born Wilmington, N.C., 6-1-1813, died (April 28, 1891?), 9-21-1859 wed Betsy Euphemia Cutlar (b12-10-1830, daughter of Dr. Frederick Jones Cutlar & Louisa Burdsole Dubrutz), (Richard Jr.incorporator of the Wilmington & Seacoast Railroad), was the son of Wilmington, N.C., Bank of Cape Fear officer, Richard Bradley, Jr., (first Commodore Carolina Yacht Club, Wrightsville Beach, N.C., (2nd?) oldest yacht club in USA) and 2nd wife Eliza Claudia Yonge, the daughter of Capt. Philip Yonge, Loyalist, H. M. Surveyor-General of Georgia and wife Christian Mackenzie. Richard Jr's father was Wilmington merchant, Continental Line paymaster Capt. Richard Bradley, Sr., and wife Elizabeth Ashbridge Sharpless. Richard Jr's summer home on Bradley's Creek, is now the site of "Airlie Gardens", a City of Wilmington Park. W. H. Bradley was the brother of my Mrs. Lucy Anna Bradley Jewett of Wilmington. From: "Sir Elis Hicks (1315)...Philip le Yonge (1295) & 7,812 Descendants" by Eugene C.
