I've moved this section out of the article. Many have served their use. Thincat (talk) 15:00, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with that. I think we should just do a cut and paste instead of moving the page when it is ready. ww2censor (talk) 10:18, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Biographical[edit]

I've updated the (rather tedious) biographical information and put something in about the expedition and Bullock's role. I'll read a bit again from my books from his perspective because I don't think the article adequately brings out the importance of his role. I shall get the Wade Davis book quite soon, I hope, and that may allow tghis aspect to improved. I doubt whether Davis can help further with general biography. There are two obituaries which I can't access. The Foreign Office List and Diplomatic and Consular Year Book, 1957, p. 492 (Harrison, 1958) and in the Alpine Journal 61 361. Also Alpine Journal has his diary of the expedition in 1962 vol 67, #304 (130-149) and #305 (291-309). Thincat (talk) 17:35, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Is this the Alpine Journal you are looking for? Also came across this Himalayan Journal extract which mentions Bullock oseveral times. It is much improved and better than i could do. Thanks and good luck. ww2censor (talk) 10:33, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I found part 1 of the diaries in the Alpine Journal and have linked them in your citation. ww2censor (talk) 12:46, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
