Unlikely or Errors?[edit]

The article states that in World War I he volunteered for duty in Belgium as a press supervisor. Born in 1902, he was 12 when the war started, and 16 when it finished. Who takes a 16-year-old seriously who applies for such a post? I think either that this is an error for World War II, or it's just wrong. As well, it says he served in the Wehrmacht in WW II; but his filmography lists him as continuously employed as an actor all through the war. 24.81.25.127 (talk) 07:18, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Has there been any progress in clarifying this? 2603:800C:3944:BC00:BD05:4B16:E0E0:1F66 (talk) 11:22, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
