Actually Nebraska doesn't have preemption, yet and its uncertain at this point whether LB68 which would implement it will be passed. Right now it has an amendment which lets Omaha have its own rules. If the bill does pass, Lincoln's backdoor registration of handguns and denying permits for misdemeanors will go away. But what we lawful gun owners want to know is what happens to those records? I want my revolver purchased purged. 40.131.151.20 (talk) 16:02, 14 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Video[edit]

File:DN Asks- Do you know the UNL concealed carry policy-.webm

The college newspaper of UNL made a nice video in which they talk to students about concealed carry. It's nice to have videos in articles1Veertje (talk) 22:16, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The video is nice, in and of itself, but I think it should not be added to this article. The "Gun laws in X" articles are all devoted to explaining the actual state and local laws. Opinions about the laws should be left out entirely. Of course, on Wikipedia there are other articles, about gun politics and so on, where the opinions are part of the controversial subject matter. Though I'm not convinced that this video, or any similar video, is a good fit for those articles either. Mudwater (Talk) 22:44, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
