Father of Isabeau de Châtillon[edit]

I realize that Wikipedia is not the place to debate medieval genealogy, but it would seem there is some discrepancy about the parents of Guillaume's wife Isabeau de Châtillon. Some sources list her parents as Guy IV de Châtillon and Marie de Dreux, while others say her parents were Jacques de Châtillon (seigneur de Leuze) and Catherine de Condé. (Guy and Jacques were brothers.) The same discrepancy seems to exist about Isabeau's sister Beatrice, wife of Jean of Flanders. --Saforrest (talk) 10:55, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
