Source of the name?[edit]

Where does the name come from? Is it the English translation from the Welsh, and if so what's the original Welsh name? ("Cynffon y Gaseg Lwyd", presumably?). Or is it an invented English name, a result of tourism (like so many "Fairy Glens" etc)?
