Governing authority[edit]

It is incorrect to say, "The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is the governing authority of the Indian national capital territory of Delhi and its 11 districts".

Although called the National Capital Territory, Delhi is still an Union Territory. Delhi is administered by the President of India through an Administrator designated as the Lieutenant Governor.

As per the Constitution of India,http://lawmin.nic.in/olwing/coi/coi-english/Const.Pock%202Pg.Rom8Fsss(12).pdf
