Dear Wiki editors: Please specify the dispute to which the above notice refers so that appropriate edits can be considered. Please refer directly to the "Unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material about living persons" that your notice implies must be removed immediately - I do not see any material in the article that fits such a description, and there is nothing in the article that can be considered libelous. If you can not refer directly to any such material, then please remove the warnings/disclaimers at the top of the wikipage for Gordon Curran Stewart. --Wmdelamare (talk) 16:07, 28 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There are several sections that have no references at all, particularly the biographical details - this remains to be resolved, I have therefore tagged the article appropriately. --nonsense ferret 18:58, 28 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Date of death[edit]

This link, which appeared first on Wednesday, November 26, indicates Stewart dies on "Thursday"; well that must mean Thursday, November 20 because you can't write up a death until it occurs and Wednesday precedes Thursday, as far as I know.

This Philipstown.info obit (http://philipstown.info/2014/11/26/gordon-stewart-founder-gone) which indicates Stewart "died in the early hours of Thanksgiving Eve" came after the other was published and thus is less credible. Stewart's death had already been added to the List of deaths in November 2014 before User talk:Factomom changed it from November 20 to November 26. Nonetheless, to do due diligence I am going to contact the author of the obituary citing November 26 (@ editor@philipstown.info) and try to clarify matters. Quis separabit? 03:17, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK, per Kevin Foley, editor at philipstown.info, November 26 is the correct date so I updated accordingly. Quis separabit? 00:27, 13 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
