Continuity[edit]

I have to refute the argument that this film is "in continuity" with Mothra or War of the Gargantuas. Yes it uses stock footage from them, but it writes an entirely different story for the events that took place during those films. Dave (talk) 06:32, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Mothra Heat Ray[edit]

The article says that they said that Mothra fell to the heatray. This is incorrect. They say that, "We invented a [...I can't remember...] heatray to kill that monster." Or something like that. That’s the English version, in the original Japanese version they only said they created one to fight it with, they didn’t destroy it (and in the actual movie “Mothra”, they didn’t manage to kill her. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Edited Plot[edit]

Hoping that I don't step on anyone's toes here, but I went through and reworked the plot summary because I didn't think that it really did an adequate job, or was even particularly accurate in many points.
