Tech issues[edit]

You can't put stuff, like {{main}}, between the term and definition, or it screws up the markup (technically, it generates bogus extra definitions). While the average reader doesn't notice, it does totally defeat the purpose of using template-structured glossary markup. Also, don't use #-style ordered lists for definitions; that's a totally different list style; use:

{{term|football}}

:1. A game played with a round ball; sometimes called soccer.

:2. A game played with an oblong ball in the US and Canada; sometimes called gridiron.

Evidence would suggest I can... but seriously, thanks for expanding MOS:GLOSS recently; I think it is much clearer than it was when I started this glossary with a format similar to what it has now. I will put it on my to-do list to fix, unless someone gets to it first. VQuakr (talk) 09:04, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
