First line of Biographies[edit]

I reverted the prior change to make a tighter first line. It only removes the location (Modena) from the sentence, and I would not be averse to including it somehow. However I would recommend Sweetpool50 to look at any of a number of biographies of historical figures in Wikipedia. The introductions are structured (and I believe there is merit to this) by: "name or names" (date of birth - Date of death) was a "defined role for which he is notable" and can include an additional phrase identifying notability. For example:

Charles Robert Darwin FRS FRGS FLS FZS JP[6] (12 February 1809 – 19 April 1882) was an English naturalist, geologist, and biologist, widely known for his contributions to evolutionary biology.
Abraham Lincoln (February 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865) was an American lawyer, politician, and statesman who served as the 16th president of the United States from 1861 until his assassination in 1865.
John Wilkes Booth (May 10, 1838 – April 26, 1865) was an American stage actor who assassinated United States President Abraham Lincoln at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C., on April 14, 1865.

For example, in the third case, while Booth was an actor, he is most notable for his assassination of the president. I would not call his vocation as an assassin: it was a one-off action (although of vast implications.

None of the above comment on place or birth or death, although place may have a large relevance to the person. My edit does not remove any information. It moves the birth place to the same sentence that announces the birth parents.
