Gianni di VenanzoGianni Di Venanzo –the correct spelling has a capitalized D. See the Italian wikipedia page, his official website ([1], 99% of the books hits that mention him ([2], such as Dizionario del film, Enciclopedia del cinema, Destination Hollywood, A History of Italian Cinema, I premi nel cinema, The encyclopedia of science fiction movies, European Directors and Their Films, The cinema of Italy, Italian Neorealist Cinema: An Aesthetic Approach, The A to Z of Italian Cinema}, Enciclopedia Treccani ([3]), IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes ([4]), Yahoo! Movies ([5], New York Times ([6]), 99% of news sources, the award he named (Premio Gianni Di Venanzo) etc. etc. Cavarrone (talk) 07:29, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support - and I think you can use Tech moves for changing di to Di. It's a common mistake and as long as it's sourced don't think anyone will object. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:13, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for the input. I will use it for any future move of this kind. Cavarrone (talk) 08:21, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. If he was from the town Venanzo, he would be called "Gianni di Venanzo", but his surname is "Di Venanzo", and thus written with a capital "D".--Sajoch (talk) 09:53, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support; seems reasonable to me. bobrayner (talk) 19:25, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
