There are a lot of references to this statement in Google Books, but none I could find that had the actual source reference page included. 1969 seems the correct year. Three common references:

Perls, Fritz (1969). Ego, Hunger and Aggression: The beginning of Gestalt Therapy. Random House; New York. Perls, Fritz, compiled and edited by John O. Stevens (1969). Gestalt Therapy Verbatim. Real People Press; Lafyette, CA. Perls, Fritz (1969). In and Out of the Garbage Pail. Real People Press; Lafayette, CA. --Circumspects (talk) 18:27, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My Observation of a Grammatical Oversight (or error, as it were)[edit]

In the opening paragraph, the first sentence (which comprises the paragraph) is missing one word. There should be an "a" prior to the word "way." Though perhaps a minor and admittedly pedantic contribution, I believe it is important in establishing Wikipedia as a site on the Web which can ultimately be second to none in at least its grammatical reliabilty.
