The result of the move request was: moved to Germany national football team results – 2000s.   • Rename to Germany national association football team results – 2000s , because Germany doesn't speak British English, and the sport is properly "association football". If not, then it should use "soccer" as soccer isn't ambiguous. It should not use "football" by itself, as that is ambiguous. And I see after closing that Tffff has decided to move it to Germany national football team results (2000–present) while the RM was ongoing. It doesn't seem to have caused any objection, so I'll leave it as is. If anyone does have concerns ping me and we'll figure out the best course of action. Merge proposal[edit]

A newer article, Germany national football team results, covers 1908 to present, and there's no reason to have two articles on the same subject. This article was renamed by User:Tffff in September 2014 from List of Germany international games to the present title, so if this decision was taken on the basis of splitting it up by century to prevent the article becoming too long, then perhaps the newer article should only merge the 2000-present results here, and be renamed to Germany national football team results (1908-1999). @Tracy Van Doom: I would aruge that it would need to split further, maybe it have into four sections (1908-1929), (1930-1959), (1960-1979), (1980-1999) as it would be a lot better than what it currently is. HawkAussie (talk) 23:56, 11 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
