Giftedness?[edit]

I would like to ask how this program is considered to be in the category Giftedness. I read the article and it seems that students are picked based on academic achievements (transcripts, grades) and not innate aptitude. If I am mistaken then that needs to be fixed in the article, if not I'll remove it from the category giftedness. Thank you. Tstrobaugh 18:38, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Entry to the Math program considers PSAT scores. Entry to fine arts programs are based largely on audition/portfolio. --pfunk42 02:52, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Subjects at GHP?[edit]

"Science" shouldn't be lumped together as one subject. It's divided into completely different majors of biology, physics, and chemistry. If we're calling "science" one major, then we should call "language" one major.

I made the change but it was undone. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.6.158.192 (talk) 11:19, 17 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

It's a nomination area, and the article is correct in referring to it as such. --69.40.1.5 (talk) 21:22, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Relavancy?[edit]

Is it relevant for the purposes of this article that one of the notable alumni was a "murder victim"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.204.44.71 (talk) 20:40, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
