Did he die?[edit]

Buying books for Thomas Jefferson in 1815[edit]

Mark Dimunation, rare books librarian at the Library of Congress, in his lecture at the Rare Books School in Virginia, states Thomas Jefferson, after selling his 6000+ library to re-establish the Library of Congress, proceeds to ask a young George Ticknor, to buy books for him, as Ticknor journeys to Europe in 1815. 2601:280:CA80:8970:D079:22E7:C96F:FF20 (talk) 10:59, 9 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
