Portraits from life[edit]

I've just added to Commons the only two portraits of GRC that were made during his lifetime, in case someone wants to work one of them into the article. They are not particularly flattering portraits (especially the final one), which may be why one rarely sees them. Kevin1776 (talk) 22:49, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of a reference for raids[edit]

Hamilton was probably "encouraging [the Indians] to launch raids on the Kentucky settlers by enticing them with hopes of reclaiming the region as their hunting ground". However, neither of the references at the end of the paragraph state this. So in the process of rewording I have avoided the lack of reference by softening the verb to "support" rather than the more active "encourage and entice".
