Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Not a speedy candidate for sure. This man is being written about over 400 years later, in reliable sources. Needs improvements, but is notable - lots of mentions in Google books. Not much is known about him, so unlikely to go beyond a stub but that's not relevant to notability. --Boleyn (talk) 18:42, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
