NPOV[edit]

- - I have noticed that there is a certain IP who has always been updating this article and the Game Head article, and adding Game Head-related material in corresponding articles. - - I have a feeling that this is somebody who works with/for Keighley, or (unlikely) Keighley himself, which I doubt, I don't think he'd praise himself that much.-TonicBH 05:02, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please cite references? This article doesn't contain any praise beyond calling Keighley "respected." -CSpaz

Actually, he probably praises himself in his sleep: http://www.gameslice.com/bio.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.254.191.46 (talk) 22:20, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Eh?[edit]

Should we add any information about the recent event between Keighley and Cooper Lawrence over Mass Effect? Lawrence's book on Amazon.com (Cult of Perfection) has taken quite a hit... Just a thought. Fllmtlchcb (talk) 12:00, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think the whole FOX "debatte" should be included. Especially the fact thay his name has now been changed by the Internet to Geoff (now a hero) Keighley. I'm guessing you are referring to the over abundance of negative reviews on her useless book? Surely the fans of video gaming like me that again feel misrepresented. Much more pressing issues in the game than the short "sex" scene is that of moral concerns. You can decide whether a race lives or dies. You decide to either just kill everyone or hand them to the cops. I'm blabbing again. See here: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/26/arts/television/26mass.html?_r=2&ref=arts&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

Image change for Geoff Keighley?[edit]

I recognise currently on this page is an image of Geoff Keighley in this article that is titled File:Geoff Keighley - New York Game Awards 2019 (cropped).jpg and is located below the top infobox. Below this text is the image I am referring to.

However I think a more appropriate image to be used in this article would be this photo of Geoff Keighley looking directly at the camera where it is easier to see greater details in his facial features.

I recognise that this second image I am proposing to be used is indeed older however I believe it contains greater detail and contains greater backlighting, I almost mistook the current image for Adam Hills because the current image is not very detailed. This image is titled File:Geoff Keighley, 2013 (cropped).jpg and is available from Wikimedia Commons with a free use Creative Commons 4.0 International license.

I have also posted this proposal for consensus on the talk page for The Game Awards 2023.

I've replaced it with this image from 2018, which I think is clearer. Rhain (he/him) 10:33, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
