Untitled[edit]

Thank you for making this page! I've been playing the arcade game alot on MAME due to its bizarre nature, and was going to start an article, but then I realized I had no fxcking idea what was going on in this game (even though I somehow managed to get fairly far in it). It is relased not only in Japan[edit]

I Have played a copy of this game in a game house in 1986 on a english version called only Genpei.

Who is that old evil hag?[edit]

Stop adding the "Japan exclusive computer and video games" category[edit]

somewhat for a "trivia" section[edit]

In the Taiko Drum Master game (at least, the US version released for the PS2) it has as an "unlockable" track, a live-band version of the main song in the The Genji and the Heike Clans game, simply called "The Genji and the Heike Clans". It's actually quite true to the original computer-made synthesizer version.

Turn-based[edit]

I have redirected the "turn-based" wikilink to "turn-based" instead of "turn-based strategy". I am aware that turn-based in turn redirects to turn-based strategy, but I suppose that this will remain a temporary thing, and the game in question is an RPG.—Graf Bobby 15:10, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How do you get "Genji and Heike" out of genpei touma den?[edit]

See Genpei War and the Japanese version of the article. Note that the translation here is very wrong. The Japanese article's first sentence of the summary, translated through Google Translate, is helpful: "Kamakura period of Genpei battle in the motif jōruri that the theme of the "success KeiKiyoshi" action game"; it's not accurate, but native Japanese speakers are referencing the fact that the game has a fictional reference to the conflicts that preceded the Kamakura period. The rough translation on the front of the page doesn't make sense to me, and "Heike" makes no sense at all. --Notmyhandle (talk) 00:30, 2 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
