Expansion: Missing Information[edit]

This article is missing several pieces of important information, these include information on the film's production, theatrical release, and popularity (The latter can be added to the legacy section). With the exception of the film's popularity, all of this information needs to be added to the article in separate sections, there is also some sections that are missing citations which should be added to the article as well.--Paleface Jack (talk) 16:44, 30 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccurate translation[edit]

The Japanese title translates as "Giant Monster Gamera" according to all reference sources including Galbraith. It is not "Gamera, the Giant Monster". That is incorrect.68.129.15.71 (talk) 19:28, 20 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you find a source that suggests a different translation, then go for it. Andrzejbanas (talk) 19:40, 20 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, I mean the title of the wiki page is incorrect! I don't know how to change that.68.129.15.71 (talk) 20:55, 20 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The title of the page seems to reflect the current home video release. So it is an official title. I do not think it really causes any confusion and is the most readily available title for the film. So its not incorrect as you suggest. Unless you feel it should be titled something else, please suggest it here. Andrzejbanas (talk) 02:06, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the title changes in the article. I would not change the title of the film within the article without reason. The film has been released under this title, and in a fairly complete form as this title. So again, its not incorrect, you just seemed to miss that giant citation in the lead. Correction in title[edit]

To be grammatically correct, there should be no comma between "Gamera" and "the".Malcolmlucascollins (talk) 03:17, 26 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
