Pronounciation[edit]

It's pronounced "Gan"

According to the introduction for his short story in "Again, Dangerous Visions" he pronounced it "GAY-un" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.163.53.189 (talk) 10:06, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

He was a family friend, and I called him "GAY-an", but I was quite young, so he might not have corrected me even if I were wrong. HandsomeMrToad (talk) 08:19, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Question:

The "Gan" pronunciation sounds right, but now I have to ask (sorry) whether the letters G-A-N should be spoken rhyming with "can" (of soup, say) or frying "pan". Sometimes names like Gahan have unique pronunciations as to how they ought to sound can pose problems. When I saw "Gan" it made sense to me only if spoken to sound like "Khan" (as in Genghis) with G in front of it instead of a K; or the way the German last name "Hahn" in pronounced. I know this must sound trivial, and I suppose it is. Just askin'.

Peanuts "saccharine"?[edit]

Comment: I question the characterization of "Peanuts" as being an overly sweet view of childhood. The TV cartoons may have been after a while, but the comic strip never was. Is there a source for Wilson saying this is how he felt about Schulz's work? (unsigned comment by User:72.93.242.76 originally put on article page)

Considering editing entry in "[b]ibliography"[edit]

Specifically, the entry in the section that goes "● (1972) in Harlan Ellison (Ed.), Again, Dangerous Visions 2, Signet, New York, 1972". It doesn't fit with the others. Could anyone please tell me what to do here?--Thylacine24 (talk) 20:37, 6 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
