Keep or redirect to Fantastic Four[edit]

This topic does not qualify for its own article. It's an organization created as part of a Fantastic Four storyline, with no real-world, or out-universe significance. The series of which it will be a focus, FF, will probably last a year or less, in order for the Human Torch to return in time for the Fantastic Four series to resume numbering with issue #600. It is currently mentioned in the Publication History section of the Fantastic Four article, and does not merit or require anything beyond that. It should be deleted according to Speedy Deletion Criteria A10. Nightscream (talk) 08:42, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's still going strong after Fantastic Four 600. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.148.235.249 (talk) 02:29, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Team Dynamics and a vote to keep the page[edit]

Even outside of it being part an ongoing Fantastic Four storyline, in which the Marvel Universe as a whole is one continuing storyline, Future Foundation will see a different dynamic and team composition that makes it a departure from the standard Fantastic Four dynamic. To say that a series will not last is irrelevant, as just because a team doesn't have a book shouldn't automatically disqualify it for its own page. Since this will be a new status quo and an expanding roster in the future, it's own page would be better suited than to lump it in to the Fantastic Four page. --Wiki Dragyn (talk) 18:06, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Keep Future Foundation story separate from AMS and FF[edit]

I've just looked at the new edit from the History bit and I've notice its from the Amazing Spider-Man storyline and not the FF storyline. This latest edit should be in the Spider-Man page, while the story from FF should be in this. SilentmanX (talk) 22:03, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think it depends on the situation. If something involves the whole team, I'd say it belongs on the Future Foundation page, whether it takes place in FF, ASM, or Rocket Raccoon Adventures. If it just involves Spider-Man with cameos by FF members, then it can go on the Spidey page. DeadpoolRP (talk) 14:19, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copy Edit Reverting[edit]

This page is marked as needed copy editing, so I've begun copy editing it; however, a user who I won't name at this point has reverted virtually every change I have made while copy editing, some of the changes multiple times. To try to clarify what I'm doing, I have begun to explain all of my edits in my edit summaries, and I have requested that he/she do the same, but he/she continues to revert everything without explanation. I don't want to turn this into an edit war, but I'm not sure why this user feels he/she is an authority on the issues in question, especially since he/she explains nothing and doesn't seem to understand basic punctuation rules like punctuating a complex list with semicolons and commas instead of just commas. Can I get some help or suggestions here? DeadpoolRP (talk) 16:17, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Doctor Doom?[edit]

According to the info box he is both a current and former member of FF. Anyone care to fix this? IrishStephen (talk) 18:54, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The main body of this article is a Wikipedia vio[edit]

We do not do articles consisting primarily of-universe fictiography. For at least two years, WikiProject Comics, by consensus, has disallowed such jargon-filled WP:FANCRUFT that are meaningful only to fans and not the general-interest reader. That is the reason for long debates and the eventual deletion decisions at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fictional history of Green Goblin, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fictional history of Spider-Man (4th nomination), and Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Fictional_history_of_Wolverine_(3rd_nomination).

The above, in turn, is based on Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Writing about fiction. This article needs either a complete rewrite or else a teardown and rebuilding from the ground up. --Tenebrae (talk) 14:04, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
