The DisInsider blog[edit]

Regarding the use of this Disinisider source in the article, while it is a self-published blog, it is also an interview with the author (Mari Mancusi) of the book in question, and is used in the article only as a source for what Mancusi says about the process of writing her book (attributed as her own claims). Given Mancusi has shared this interview on her public social media accounts (twitter, tumblr), I don't see any reason to think this isn't a legitimate interview.
