Assessment[edit]

George, this article is looking good for B-Class. However, as a rule, can you:

  • Make your lead a bit more substantial, i.e. a paragraph of a few sentences, giving a brief outline of career, rather than just one sentence to establish notability.
  • Tidy up the citations by avoiding bare URLs - doesn't have to be a template but there are acceptable ways of presenting - and merging identical citations. I'll demo on a couple here, if you could finish off for this article and do for others in future.
  • Further to the citations, with something like Flieger-Album, I realise you can't link to the actual entry like you can with The Aerodrome. However, you need to check if the name of the entry on the 'content' page is different to name you give in the article. I had to go searching for Friedrichs because he wasn't actually listed under that exact name in the contents, he was listed as "Frederick Fritz". Again, I've taken care of it here but pls remember for future (or other unassessed) articles.

Be more than happy to assess this one as B-Class after these things are taken care of. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 23:29, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

assessment Germany project comments[edit]

I echo Ian's comments above. There are several articles on fighter aces, many of which are very good. You could take a look at those and see how they handle boxes and such. I like your style, though, the informality of it. Don't get too informal, though. :) Auntieruth55 (talk) 23:22, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
